The Hinter’s project is a tense and eerie dark drama wich involves, the Gruber family and the unsetting cold winter months leaeding to the family’s slaughter on their isolated farm. Based on the real life unsolved Hinterkaifeck murders, the story involves visually evocative character and hauntingly beautiful visuals.
In the harsh rural winter, life on the farm can be very isolated and for that reason this bleak farming community has always provided a vital source of support for one another, no matter the circumstances.
Lost in a dark past that shadows the farm, everyone struggles to survive and the only distraction is the locarl church.
